Terry Clayton's Bio
Terry R. Clayton is the majority owner of the law firm Terry Clayton and Associates, P. C. Mr. Clayton’s firm engages in civil litigation in the areas of bankruptcy, personal injuries, automobile and tractor truck accidents, consumer law, probate law, domestic relations and business organizations.
He received Bachelor Science degrees in Political Science and Criminal Justice Tennessee State University in 1980. Mr. Clayton is a 1985 graduate of Howard University School of Law; he is licensed to practice law in the states of Tennessee and the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania.
He is on the Samaritan Ministries Board of Directors, Tennessee Department of Health Aids Advisory Panel and he is a member of Phi Beta Sigma Fraternity (Fall 1975) and is currently active in Eta Beta Sigma Graduate Chapter of Phi Beta Sigma. Mr. Clayton severed as a Staff Attorney with the Tennessee General Assembly in 1987 before entering into private practice.
He retired from the Tennessee Air National Guard in March 2003 as a Major, where he served as the Chief of Military Equal Opportunity.
